The Sephora Savings Event is a great opportunity to stock up on your tried and true favorite products, or maybe even to try something totally new (like some of my favorite products)! And naturally it’s a great opportunity to switch up your makeup or skincare routine for the winter months.

Y’all know by now that Sephora is one of my favorite stores on the planet. I love testing out and trying new products — and Sephora makes it really easy with their super knowledgable staff and generous return policy. I also really appreciate their ‘Clean at Sephora’ label — that way, I can easily find products that are formulated without a long (and frightening) list of chemicals. Several years ago, I switched to almost all clean / cruelty-free beauty products, and this section has been an incredible resource.

Below are all of my current favorites for the best Sephora sale picks — I’ve really simplified my makeup routine over the last year and I’ve been focusing a lot more on skincare, including using makeup products that are really good for my skin. Being in my mid 40s has really made me look at makeup, beauty, and skincare differently — and I’m definitely not buying the same things at Sephora as I was in my early 30s.

My Favorite eyeBrow Gel

Hands down, one of my favorite new products is the Calliray ‘Come Hell or High Brow’ 24-Hour Volumizing Tubing Brow Gel.

This stuff is so darn easy to use and really works. And it lasts all darn day! But it also doesn’t make my brows feel crispy or hard — it just set them in place perfectly, especially thanks to the attached comb.

And I love how easily it washes off at the end of the day!

My New Favorite EyeshadowS

Kulfi has these fabulous new cream eyeshadow pots that I’m loving right now — their Zari Eyes Long-Lasting Crease-Proof Cream Eyeshadow — that you can just swipe on easy-peasy, and use as much or as little as you want for the desired effect.

They go on as a cream and dry down to a powder that won’t crease and won’t budge — and they’re perfect for either just a hint of shimmer or a major pop of color!

My Favorite Mascara

Westman Atelier’s Eye Want You Lengthening + Volumizing Clean Mascara gives me THE LONGEST LASHES I’ve ever had. I’m always getting questions from strangers who think they’re fake. Lashes for days!

The best part? It washes off super easy with just cleanser (no need to go back a second time to wash away stubborn spots) thanks to the tubing formula.

My Favorite Tinted Moisturizer

The Milk Makeup Hydro Grip 12-Hour Hydrating Gel Skin Tint is absolutely perfect. I love that it’s a clean, non-comedogenic, 12-hour hydrating gel skin tint with triple-powered hyaluronic acid and buildable light-to-medium coverage for a natural dewy finish. Speaking of, they also have an illuminating primer if you want even more of a dewy finish.

I also love that it evens out my redness but still gives me a totally natural finish (meaning it doesn’t cover up my freckles, which I have grown to love over the years).

My Favorite Concealer

The Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer is packed with both caffeine and hyaluronic acid, which means it does wonders for my dark under eye circles without looking cake-y. It also covers up any blemishes or redness I might have, and makes me look awake and refreshed.

My favorite concealer is any concealer that makes it look like I’m not wearing any, and this one definitely delivers.

My Favorite Blush

There’s a reason why the Merit Flush Balm Cream Blush is a Sephora best-seller — it’s impossible to mess up, gives you the perfect flush of color, and melts into skin without looking fake or settling into your pores.

A bonus? You can use it on your lips, too. Its creamy, multi-use formula features vitamin E to nourish skin for a long-lasting glow. This particular color, Lusitano, is the perfect soft peach shade. And if you want to add some extra shimmery glow, this Fenty Beauty highlighter is a long-time favorite of mine.

My Favorite Primer & Setting Spray

The Milk Makeup Hydro Grip line — especially their Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer and their Hydro Grip 12HR Dewy Setting Spray With Hyaluronic Acid + Niacinamide — are both amazing.

My pores have become considerably more visible recently, which is super annoying when makeup then starts to sit in it. Well, these two products help stop that problem!

My Favorite Perfume

The absolute chokehold that Henry Rose ‘Windows Down’ Eau de Parfum has had on me lately…I’ve now bought it and emptied it four times! The notes of grapefruit, bergamot, honeyed neroli, earl grey tea, jasmine, and musk are right up my alley.

My Favorite Hair Products

Roz has been super popular lately and for good reason — their Foundation Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner (which comes in a convenient set!) has powerful ceramides and pea peptides for a healthy scalp, hydrated hair, and a perfect foundation for air drying or styling.

And the fragrance notes are to die for: Bergamot, Vetiver, Neroli, and Fig.

My Favorite Deodorant

I am still so in love with Salt & Stone’s Neroli & Basil Extra-Strength Aluminum-Free Deodorant … the scent is just so good.

First off, let me be totally honest with y’all: the different brands of natural deodorant I’ve tried in the past haven’t always gone the distance for me — especially during the summer months. Half-way through the day, the deodorant would be long gone and I’d be left stinky. Not this one!

My Favorite PIMPLE PATCHES

The Inkey List Hydrocolloid Pimple Patches are hands down the best pimple patches I’ve ever used.

They aren’t fancy or cute but they absolutely get the job done and get all of the gunk out of my pimples overnight without irritating my skin. Highly recommend!

Wanted to share some more of my favorite Sephora sale favorites that you might want to check out during the sale, especially if you’re a Rouge member, including:

More pricey investments like the Shark hair tools (like the FlexStyle and the SpeedStyle).
Good hairbrushes, like 1) a vented wet brush for gently detangling while also cutting down on blow-drying time and 2) a big round ceramic brush that can create waves and volume or smooth out hair while straightening.
Their value and gift sets, which is actually a great way to test out new lines or new products to find your favorites — they even have sets priced at under $50.
Expensive Lash and Brow serums — if you’re looking for longer lashes and fuller brows, I swear by both GrandeLASH and GrandeBROW. It’s a long process, so it pays to buy the value sizes.
