Sheer Layers (Without the Designer Price) — Sheer fabrics are going to be everywhere this spring, adding texture and dimension to simple outfits. Instead of investing in pricey runway pieces, look for lightweight mesh or chiffon tops that can be layered over a tank, tee, or bralette. It’s an easy way to modernize basics you already own.
Bold Color, Small Commitment — so many of my spring style favorites this season are bold colors—lime green, electric blue, and sunny yellows—but you don’t have to go all-in. Try incorporating bold hues through accessories like bags, shoes, or statement earrings. A pop of color instantly updates an outfit and costs far less than replacing entire looks.
Relaxed Silhouettes You’ll Actually Wear — Comfort is still going to be king. Wide-leg pants, flowy skirts, and loose button-downs will dominate this season, and they’re widely available at budget-friendly stores like Old Navy (or J.Crew if you’re looking to splurge on a special piece). These silhouettes also have staying power, meaning you’ll get wear out of them well beyond spring.
Denim, Reimagined — Denim will continue to evolve with wider legs, softer washes, playful prints, and slightly oversized fits. If you already own straight-leg or relaxed jeans, you’re ahead of the game. But if not, Old Navy is a great place to pick up a pair on a budget along with your other spring style favorites.
