Why the Anniversary Sale Is A Fall fashion GAME-CHANGER
Every July, fashion lovers know it’s time to think ahead—way ahead. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale isn’t your average end-of-season clearance event. It’s a rare moment when brand-new fall styles drop on sale before they even hit full price. Translation? You’re getting next season’s must-haves at a discount before everyone else even starts shopping for sweaters.
The best Under $100 Fall Finds from the sale
For this year’s roundup of the sale, I wanted to focus specifically on the best under $100 deals. Virtually everyone I know is watching their spending right now, trying to make their money stretch further, and being really intentional about what they add to their closet. And this is never a bad idea!
I wanted to cut through a lot of the sale clutter out there and focus on what I think will be the wisest picks, which pieces you’ll get the most use out of through the summer and into the fall, and my favorite beauty sale picks that I reach for again and again.
There were so many good deals that I had to break it down into two sections — let’s dive into my picks!
First up, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale always has some really great affordable dresses for fall. In fact, I always check out the sale specifically for dresses that might be good for any fall work events or special occasions I have on my calendar, to see if there’s something that might work. In particular I really love this burgundy floral maxi that’s on sale for $79 and it has pockets! It will be great for work events in the fall and winter. If you have an event on the calendar this summer or early fall, this sleeveless floral maxi dress is super chic and only $59!
Next up, I always check the selection of Bombas socks that Nordstrom has discounted during the Anniversary Sale, because Bombas is one of my favorite socks brands so it’s always good to stock up. I walk somewhere between 5-7 miles a day with my dog, and these socks are the real deal — they have such great cushioning and support.
If you want to prepare now for the cold weather and the inevitable dry skin that will be plaguing us in just a few short months, then I highly recommend snagging this two-pack of Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve. Keep one at home and one in your car, or maybe even keep one at your desk at work. I’ve been using it for years and can confidently say it’s the best hand cream out there. It always cures my eczema flare-ups. In fact, I use it wherever I’m dealing with red, cracked or chapped winter skin, not just on my hands.
If you’ve ever wanted to try out the Grande Cosmetics products (like their lash growth serum), then I’d definitely recommend getting the Grande Cosmetics Lash & Brow Vibes Set during the sale. Another one of my favorite brands that I love checking out during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is Madewell. They have a few great deals on denim and I love their handbags. In particular, I love this perfect-for-fall convertible cross-body Madewell suede handbag.
Lastly, I always check out the jewelry selection during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale — they have some of the best under $100 jewelry out there, especially their selection of Bauble Bar and their selection of Argento Vivo. And because I’m always looking for new additions to my necklace stacks, this Open Edit set of 3 interchangeable necklaces with an initial charm really caught my eye — so perfect for fall!
