If you’ve seen the new Apple TV+ show Palm Royale … then you might be totally obsessed with the costume design of the show like I am! The style is just amazing and I absolutely had to do a fun blog post of some Palm Royale inspired pieces you can work into your wardrobe this spring and summer!
The show is set in 1969 against the backdrop of high society in Palm Beach, Florida and the cast is STACKED. Kristen Wiig, Ricky Martin, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, Kaia Gerber, oh and just a little guest starring role by none other than CAROL BURNETT. It’s gotten some mixed reviews so far, and I’m only a couple of episodes in, but I personally think it’s fun, camp, and most of all it’s gorgeous-looking TV.
Visually, the show is absolutely stunning, and I have a feeling that the costume design on the show is going to create quite a trend wave in the summer months (Vogue is already talking about it and so is Harper’s Bazaar … oh and I absolutely loved this interview with the show’s costume designer over on Who What Wear).
So, I scoured the interwebs and put together what I think are some really chic and affordable options, that will incorporate really nicely into your wardrobe. I love the bold colors and prints, the vintage vibes, and the maximalist style attitude. I haven’t been this enamored with the style on a TV show since Mad Men, so I really wanted to have fun with this and put some shoppable pieces together and share them with you!
