Holiday Decor with Nearly Natural

Talking about Holiday Decor on the blog today! And yes, while it’s only November 4th, did you know that we’re just about 50 days away from Christmas? Also, with everything going on in the world right now, I say that if decorating a little earlier for the holidays this year makes you happy … do it!

Today, I am sharing some pieces from a new sponsor on the blog: Nearly Natural! For those of you who aren’t familiar, Nearly Natural is an online shop of very lifelike artificial plants, wreaths, flowers, trees, garlands, and more. In fact, if I hadn’t taken some very close-up photos of the two wreaths I picked out, you wouldn’t even know they weren’t real!

But to back up a bit first — some background on my apartment and the design look and feel we were going for. Some loyal readers of the blog (and/or followers on social media) might know that last year, I moved in with my boyfriend Derek. He’s lived in this apartment for many years, but did a pretty extensive renovation just before I moved in. We’ve been able to pick out a lot of our decor together and combine our two styles, which has been really nice.

For our holiday decor specifically, we both really love a more rustic, natural look (think buffalo plaids, natural wood, greenery, pinecones, and neutral colors that go with our existing decor and color scheme). In general, we both tend to gravitate more toward pieces that whisper it’s wintertime more than they shout MERRY CHRISTMAS! in your face, if that makes sense.

When I started browsing the holiday decor on the Nearly Natural website, I honestly couldn’t decide because I had so many favorites! We ended up choosing together and narrowing down our favorites to two different wreaths — one that’s more for the holidays, and one that we could definitely leave up year round.

First up — here’s the holiday wreath I fell in love with! It’s the Pine Cone and Pine wreath, and it’s really so gorgeous in person. The photos do not do it justice!

I love how it looks right at home with our existing living room holiday decor. This past weekend we even lit some candles and snuggled up on the couch, loving how cozy and inviting the space felt.

Seriously, how beautiful is this wreath?! I love the added little accents of greenery and leaves, and even the twigs! It just gives the wreath such a lush and handmade feel. And since it’s not real, we don’t have to worry about the pinecones being sticky or the pine needles falling off all over our living room. Bonus!

When you get in there nice and close up, you can see the attention to detail and how full the wreath is —

I just love how the living room turned out, and we’re all ready to celebrate the holidays!

Next up, we picked out a wreath that’s a bit more simple and more of an every day wreath for us to keep out year-round. We fell in love with the Royal Ruscus, Fittonia and Berries wreath. Even though it has some really small pinecones sprinkled throughout, we really love it for a year-round accent. And we really love it in our hallway, right next to our hall tree!

And again, I wanted to share some real close up shots of the wreath so you can see the beautiful details and how lush and full it is —

Additionally, if you’re looking to invest in a new Christmas tree this year, they have some really beautiful trees to choose from (see below!). In fact, right now they are taking $100 off any Christmas tree that’s priced at $500 or more with code 100Tree at checkout.
