RECAP: Macy’s x Etsy at Macy’s Herald Square

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a preview of a new pop-up shop that opens today in Macy’s flagship store in Herald Square here in New York City — a new collaboration with Etsy. Several Etsy sellers from NYC and the tri-state area will be rotating in and out every few weeks throughout 2016, many with pieces exclusive to the pop-up, which is so awesome.

I love that department stores are starting to look more like smaller boutiques under one roof. And I love learning about the different brands and businesses I’m supporting. I was able to meet several cool designers and entrepreneurs last night, each of them with their own unique spin and creations.

Here’s your first look at the pop-up shop and some of the amazing Etsy sellers I met —

Etsy desserts!
First up: Sol Del Sur … I love the mix of materials and the cool shapes.

Next: Meera Lee Patel … her ‘to the moon and back’ print below is swoon-worthy.

Next up: Penelope’s Press … love her NYC design below …

Next up: Yellow Heart Art … one of these prints is totally going to be part of the gallery wall I am working on in my new apartment … stay tuned!

These limited edition Etsy totes are free with purchase, while supplies last of course.

Next up: Etymology Jewelry … probably my favorite booth of the night … those necklaces are TO DIE. Especially the labradorite.

Next up: Hook and Matter … definite jewelry staples.

Next up: Reason to be Pretty … her pieces were so lightweight and comfy, but totally high impact.

Next up: Modern Mud … I need some of these adorable little jewelry holders in my life!
