The best dry shampoo you’ll ever use

When it’s winter, I’m always looking to get more mileage out of my blow-outs. The air is so dry and it’s so cold anyways, that I really don’t like to wash my hair more than I need to. And because it’s so cold, I can usually squeeze two to three days out of a really good blow-out … with a secret weapon, of course.

For the last couple of years now, I’ve been using Aloxxi Dry Shampoo, and it is hands-down the best dry shampoo I’ve ever used. And I’ve tried a ton of other brands — from the crazy expensive to the cheap drugstore kind. Nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to Aloxxi.

There are several reasons why this is my favorite dry shampoo, too:

The formula: it’s made with clay, rice, potato and silk starches, which is awesome — no scary chemicals. It’s also free of sulfates and has UV protectants in it.

The application: it goes on clear, which is awesome. I’ve tried other brands before that left behind a powdery white residue, and then I’ve also tried so-called “color-matching” brands that left behind a super dark residue … so frustrating!

The price: it’s under $20, for pete’s sake!

The smell: it’s not a super strong smell, but it is a good smell. It makes your hair smell like you just had a fresh shampoo and blow dry.

The feeling: It definitely just takes the excess oil out of your hair, and makes it feel super soft and clean, without making it feel like you put another product in it.

If you’re in the market for a dry shampoo, I would highly recommend giving this one a try!
