Spring 2014 Trends: Pastels

Hey y’all … your guide to the biggest fashion trends for spring continues tonight.  There are so many fun trends to try this season, and you don’t have to go broke doing it, either. For the next two weeks, I’m going to be breaking down all of the hottest trends for spring, and giving you tons of options for working them into your closet.

Tonight: pretty pastels.

What to look for: Pastels are so much fun … and the warmer months are the perfect chance to wear these colors, which you normally might not wear. Look for gorgeous, cheerful shades. Bonus points if the pieces are lightweight, breezy or flowy — that’s where this trend is right at home.

What to wear it with: Pastels always look amazing against crisp white, sure. But why not try pairing them with some unexpected colors?  I just LOVE the way pastels look with navy blue. For some reason, I think navy blue just makes pastels pop.

Here are 12 wallet-friendly pastel pieces to try this spring —
