Friday was such a gloomy day here in NYC … so I broke out the blue and decided to give my outfit a menswear-ish twist.

The simple act of buttoning up your button down (ha!) all the way can totally change your look.
At some point I’d love to try accessorizing with a bow tie as I’ve seen in the J. Crew Style Guides lately … but for now I added a statement necklace to give this menswear-inspired outfit a ladylike twist.
As always, I strive to be comfortable but polished on Casual Friday. This outfit just works for me! Makes me feel sassy.
