I’m part of the People Stylewatch Style Hunters network, and recently they sent me some new products from Almay to test out!
On my face is their Smart Shade CC Cream in light/medium, and on my lips is their Color + Care Liquid Lip Balm in just plum good.

Having never tried a CC cream before, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But it seems to provide a nice even moisture base before I put my makeup on. My only complaint is that it smells a little too much like sunblock for my personal preference, but I also know that SPF is a must. This has SPF 35 broad spectrum coverage.
The liquid lip balm is also really nice … I would like it if the color was a little bit more saturated, but I do like its soft texture and the yummy plum scent and flavor. It doesn’t feel too heavy or sticky, and the moisture seemed to last for several hours.

Both of these products are pretty interesting. I of course still love and will stick with my Bare Escentuals products for the majority of my makeup, but I plan on incorporating these two products into my daily makeup routine to see how they work in the long-term!
