Each day this week, as we lead up to Mother’s Day next Sunday, I figured I’d share some of my favorite old photos of my mom’s personal style … also as a nod to one of my favorite blogs — My Mom, the Style Icon.
To give you a little preview, here’s one of the photos I found —

On the back of this photo are the handwritten words “Oct. 67, Ring Day. Love, Mary Jo.”
I don’t even know which one Mary Jo is in the photo, but my mom is the one in green (I have always loved green!). My mom graduated high school in 1968, so this is what she looked like her senior year of high school.
What I do know is that these ladies were infinitely more stylish than I was when I was in high school. I want all of their clothes!
