What NYC Recessionista Wears: my new favorite dress

I am crazy in love with this new dress of mine, and I can’t even tell y’all where to buy it online because there isn’t an online store that sells them!

A couple of weeks ago, I was helping my mom with a craft fair for her new side business, and I noticed another seller that had clothes in her booth, so I walked over to check it out. What I stumbled upon was LuLaRoe, a clothing brand that has a business model similar to that of Tupperware or Stella & Dot — they have consultants across the country who sell their merch through things like parties and pop-up sales.

The only problem is, you can’t just shop their collection online! If you want to shop LuLaRoe, you have to either find a consultant near you, stalk one on FB, or attend / host a party. I really hope that changes in the future, because with how great their clothes are, they really ought to be selling them online, too. I know I personally would quickly become addicted if they did haha.

I saw this dress (the Amelia dress) and immediately fell in love … it’s soft, stretchy, has pockets, fit like a dream and isn’t too heavy but isn’t see-through, either. Basically, It’s my new favorite dress. Their leggings are also AMAZING and so so soft.
