One of my favorite fair trade brands — Faire Collection — has just come out with its new Fall / Winter 2014 collection and the pieces are stunning in their simplicity.
The collection is called Midnight and it features neo-modern handmade jewelry made by its global community of fair trade artisans. The collection was inspired by the French belle époque period, characterized by the rich textures and ornate materials that were plentiful in this era. The designs were crafted from rainforest seeds (such as tagua and acai) and sustainably sourced, upcycled bullhorn.
