Lover.ly Style Challenge: 3 Unique Wedding Looks [on a budget, too]

I am sooo excited to share this challenge with y’all!  So recently Lover.ly, an online wedding inspiration mecca, reached out to me and issued a challenge to me: take photos that they sent me of three distinct wedding themes and create bridal looks that match the scene.

I of course took it one step further and decided to create each of these looks on a budget. Because of course I would!

The three themes they gave me are: Rustic Chic, a Beach Affair, and City Glam.

Up first: Rustic Chic.
This theme is not unlike my wedding … my husband and I were married on a farm, and it was full of rustic touches. This theme is probably my favorite! It’s just so sweet and romantic. I picked this dress because I actually wish it was around when I got married!

Dress: evangeline dress from BHLDN, $260
Bracelet: amelie sparkle bracelet from Stella and Dot, $39
Earrings: pop geo chandelier earrings from Stella and Dot, $49
Hair accessories: bobby pins from LOFT, $14.50

Heels: lace heels from Modcloth, $39.99
TOTAL: $404.49

Next: a Beach Affair.
Oh my gosh … beach weddings are to die for. There’s something so effortless about seaside nuptials, isn’t there? For a wedding like this, you’ve got to go with simple, flowy pieces and keep everything easy breezy. This dress would be amazing blowing in the ocean breeze.

Dress: strapless dress from Modcloth, $230
Bracelets: bangles from LOFT, $14.99
Earrings: drop earrings from Stella and Dot, $29
Sandals: jeweled sandals from Zappos, $99
Belt: wedding sash from Etsy, $75
TOTAL: $447.99

And last, but certainly not least: City Glam.
The great thing about a city wedding is that you can totally play off of the sleek architecture and your ultra modern surroundings. City weddings make me think of white, candles, metallics and crazy chicness. I chose this dress because it reminds me of the way the sun dances and glitters off the water in the harbor downtown …

Dress: one-shoulder beaded dress from Nordstrom, $298
Hair accessories: crystal hairpins from Ruche, $12.99
Earrings: fiona earrings from Stella and Dot, $39
Bracelet: pave bracelet from Piperlime, $48
Heels: sandals from Nine West, $59.95
TOTAL: $457.94

Three totally different bridal looks each under $500. I hope Lover.ly feels that I have successfully completed this challenge 🙂
