Spring 2014 Trends: Global

Happy Tuesday, my lovelies!  I’m back with your guide to the biggest fashion trends for spring.  There are so many fun trends to try this season, and you don’t have to go broke doing it, either. For the next two weeks, I’m going to be breaking down all of the hottest trends for spring, and giving you tons of options for working them into your closet.

Tonight: we’re going Global.

What to look for: If you’re trying out this trend with clothes, look for interesting patterns that have a far away feel to them. They may even be embroidered or stitched, which only adds to the global feel. If it’s accessories you’re thinking of picking up, look for beads or natural-looking stones. If it looks like something you might have scored at a flea market or bazaar while on holiday, then you’ve got it.

What to wear it with: Like most of these trends, keep your other pieces understated and classic to let these pieces shine. Since these pieces are typically in bright colors, you may want to pair them with neutrals.

Here are 12 wallet-friendly globally-inspired pieces to try this spring —
