I don’t know why, but this outfit feels a little depressing looking at it now. I think it’s all of the black. I know I’m a New Yorker so I should automatically love black, but this much black in one outfit is so unlike me!

Even though the skirt has a pretty clearly defined waist with the elastic panel, I wanted to add something sparkly to dress it up a bit … hence the belt.
