That one special piece
Do you have that one special piece in your closet that you couldn't imagine living without?
Mine would have to be the first expensive handbag I really purchased: my Coach Legacy Shoulder Flap Bag (see here) in whiskey-colored leather.

It's a special piece for me because 1) it's such a classic handbag shape, 2) I love the rich color of the leather, and 3) I can imagine still having it 10, 15, even 20 years from now. In fact the longer I've had it, the more worn-in and buttery soft the leather feels, and the better it seems to look.

Weekend Wants
Here are some things I'd love for this weekend ... a.k.a. my Weekend Wants.
1) To organize my jewelry ... I bought this earring organizer at The Container Store several months back.
Then tonight I went and bought several more jewelry organizers from them, including one for my bracelets and another for my rings. They have the best stuff.

Well, I have tested all of them, but I haven't completed my reviews or survey yet. I can't reveal the brands to you just yet, but I wanted to show y'all the before & after for each of them so you can judge on your own, too, before knowing the brands. Then I can reveal it all someday when the issue finally hits newsstands :)

Weekend Wants
Here are some things I'd love for this weekend ... a.k.a. my Weekend Wants.
1) To relax ... the last couple of weeks have been crazy, work-wise. And to top it off, I've been so busy on the weekends that I haven't been able to relax in a while.
2) To look at doggies ... husband and I might be going to a shelter this weekend to look at some dogs that are up for adoption :) I can't deal, they're all so adorable.
3) To listen some more ... I've been listening to Jason Mraz's new album all week, and I can't stop. It's SO GOOD.
'5/6' is one of my favorite tracks so far -
4) To clean out my closet ... I've actually gone from a size 12 to a size 10, from a Large to a Medium lately (thanks to yoga). So there are some things in my closet that are too big! I plan to put a big bag together for either my sister and friends, or the Salvation Army if they're not interested. It'll also make room for some recent purchases :)
5) To look at some artwork ... I've been decorating my office, and I think I need some more wall-hangings. One of my favorite places to look for prints is Etsy.
