What NYC Recessionista Wears: Floral fall

I was pretty happy when I took this dress out of my closet yesterday morning and realized that -- with the tie waist -- it still fits. And it was such a beautiful fall day!

I've had this dress for about 3 years now, and it's from one of my favorite designer collaborations of all time: Tucker for Target.

Ross Simons pearl earrings (similar) / heart necklace c/o by boe / Tucker for Target dress (similar here and here) / J. Crew bracelets (similar here and here / Anthropologie bracelet (here) / thumb ring (similar) / LOFT cardigan / watch c/o Caravelle by Bulova / Kate Spade tights / Target wedges

I was a little unsure of the pattern and color of this dress when I first bought it, because it was a much brighter color and bolder pattern than what I normally wear. But, after having worn it a few times, I've grown to really love it. It reminds me of a vintage pattern.

I got these wedges during one of those trips to Target where you go in for laundry detergent and walk out having spent $150. They were only $35 (they're now on sale for $29!), and I had been eyeing a similar but much more expensive pair at J. Crew ... these are so comfy and cute, I love them!

I have that dress too, but I never know how to style it. Thanks for the idea!
