Each day this week, as we lead up to Mother’s Day on Sunday, I figured I’d share some of my favorite old photos of my mom’s personal style … also as a nod to one of my favorite blogs — My Mom, the Style Icon.
Today — a plain old t-shirt and some jeans. This is probably the most simple outfit I’ve ever seen my mom wear, but she looks so pretty.

This was probably taken during a backyard barbecue or something — her sunglasses are perched on her head and her only accessory is a slim gold watch. But yet she looks so chic!
I also like this photo so much because I think I look a lot like her in it.
