2 new lines coming soon to Target

I am super excited that next month, there will be 2 new lines to covet @ Target stores. Anya Hindmarch, who gave us the ridiculously cute "I'm not a plastic bag" tote a couple years ago, will debut a limited edition line of handbags, and Sigerson Morrison will debut a line of shoes.

Both lines will supposedly be in Target stores starting Oct. 12.

Get some Sundance without having to set foot in Utah ...

One of my favorite online stores is Sundance Catalog, which is of course owned by the film festival folks, a.k.a. Robert Redford.

While some of their offerings are on the expensive side -- many are handmade by local artisans -- they have an outlet section. "Outlet" has to be one of my favorite words. Why? You know it means DISCOUNT.

The Looking Glass Ring with a beautiful labradorite center stone is a steal at $24.99.

The Colton Boots are a pretty good discount @ $69.99 down from $198.00. A fitting description, too, to say they are a buttery suede. They look it. And speaking of buttery suede, this cute handbag is on sale for $39.99, down from $98.00.

Sundance Catalog is definitely worth checking out -- many of their regularly-priced items are unique and beautiful. They have the coolest jewelry I've ever seen, and they even have an entire section of vintage items. Very cool.

Denied our TopShop fix until Spring '09...

Just read on Racked, a great NY-based shopping blog, that TopShop won't be opening on Broadway in SoHo now until March 2009, due to delays in getting permits from the city (apparently the building is a landmark).

Major bummer! TopShop is being labeled as the Brit version of H&M, so I was excited about checking it out.
